Casa Andrea Cristoforo

Casa Andrea Cristoforo is a health resort clinic in Ascona in the Canton of Ticino, Switzerland above the Lago Maggiore. It has been founded by the anthroposophic physician Ita Wegman in 1936[1] with the name Casa di Cura as a dependance of the Clinic Arlesheim.[2] It has since then offered anthroposophic medical treatment. It has 31 beds.[3] Introduced on September 1, 2016, the new medical concept includes the specialties of psychotherapy/psycho-oncology, integrative anthroposophic oncology and general internal medicine.[4]
