The Chair of Comlementary and Integrative Medicine at the University of Duisburg-Essen was established in 2004 at the Faculty of Medicine of Duisburg-Essen University. Chairholder is Gustav Dobos. The endowed chair is financed by the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation. Research areas include European Naturopathic Medicine, Ordnungstherapie / Mind-Body Medicine, Hydrotherapy, Neural Therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Traditional Ayurvedic Medicine, Salutogenesis/Lifestyle Medicine.[1]
