Integrative Healthcare Symposium (IHS)

The Integrative Healthcare Symposium (IHS) is an annual meeting for integrative medical practitioners in the USA[1] usually taking place in New York City. The inaugural meeting happened in 2005.[2] The parental company is Diversified Communications.[3] Each year an integrative healthcare professional whose forward-thinking contributions have advanced their field of practice and their community is awarded with the IHS Leadership Award. Past recipients include Andrew Weil (2022),[4] John Weeks (2020),[5] David Perlmutter (2019),[6] Joe Pizzorno (2018),[7] Victoria Maizes (2017),[8] Mark Hyman (2016),[9] Tieraona Low Dog (2014)[10] and Mehmet Oz (2013)[11].[4] There used to be a visionary award. Past recipients include Deepak Chopra (2018).[12]
