Integrative Healthcare Symposium (IHS)

The Integrative Healthcare Symposium (IHS) is an annual meeting for integrative medical practitioners in the USA[1] usually taking place in New York City. The inaugural meeting happened in 2005.[2] Each year an integrative healthcare professional whose forward-thinking contributions have advanced their field of practice and their community is awarded with the IHS Leadership Award. Past recipients include Andrew Weil (2022),[3] John Weeks (2020),[4] David Perlmutter (2019),[5] Joe Pizzorno (2018),[6] Victoria Maizes (2017),[7] Mark Hyman (2016),[8] Tieraona Low Dog (2014)[9] and Mehmet Oz (2013)[10].[3] There used to be a visionary award. Past recipients include Deepak Chopra (2018).[11]
