The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) is the US Federal Government’s lead agency for scientific research on complementary and integrative health approaches.[1]

History
In 1998 the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) was created.[2] In 2014 the center was renamed to its current name National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH).[2]
