In anthroposophic pharmacy, various rhythmic procedures for preserving medicines without alcohol are found, e.g.[1]

The intention of the rhythmic procedures is to stabilize aqueous fresh plant extracts. The various procedures differ in detail, but the basic ideas are similar.
