World Congress for Integrative Medicine & Health 2017

The World Congress for Integrative Medicine & Health 2017 (WCIMH) was an international conference about integrative medicine in Berlin, Germany.[1] It took place from 3rd to 5th of May 2017 in Hotel Maritim proArte.[2] There was a youth program organized by YPIH. During the conference the Berlin agreement was declared.

Berlin agreement

The Berlin agreement is a joint statement agreed upon on the WCIMH 2017. It includes aspects of modeling health, engaging patients, promoting interprofessionalism and team care, recognising the importance of traditional medicine in global healthcare, commiting to evidence-­informed dialogue and practice, fostering whole systems research, stimulating collaboration, bridging clinical care with prevention, community and public health and engaging as change agents.[3]
