Man-centered Physiological Science and Medicine was a symposium held from September 24, 1973,[1] in Herdecke, Germany.[2] It was initiated by a collaboration of Karl-Ernst Schäfer and Gerhard Kienle and was a predecessor of the Free European Academy of Sciences (FEAW). The lectures of the conference have been published by Karl-Ernst Schäfer in three volumes: "Toward a man-centered science" (1977)[3], "Basis of an Individual Physiology" (1979)[4], and "Individuation Process and Biographical Aspects of Disease" (1979)[5].
