Georg Soldner

Georg Soldner (* 1958)[1] is a german pediatrician and author specializing in anthroposophic medicine. He took over from Hendrik Vögler as director of the GAÄD Academy in 2013.[2] He currently heads the medical section of the School of Spiritual Science at the Goetheanum together with Matthias Girke.

Soldner worked in civilian service in psychiatry. He studied medicine in Munich. From 1991 to 1994 he was head of the consultation hour for naturopathic medicine at the Children's Polyclinic of the Technical University of Munich. He has been a member of the executive board of the Medical Seminar Bad Boll since 1990. From 1999-2011 he was a member of the executive board of the Society of Anthroposophic Physicians in Germany. From 2001-2008, he was deputy executive board member of the International Federation of Anthroposophic Medical Associations (IVAA),[2] on whose board he is currently a member.[3] He is the author of several books on pediatrics with an integrative medicine focus.[3]
