SEKEM Medical center is providing integrative and anthroposophic medical care. It is located in Cairo, Egypt. The SEKEM Medical Center is providing both services to SEKEM employees, students and surrounding 40.000 community members.[1] It was founded in 1995.[2]
SEKEM "wants to develop a concept for integrative healthcare that supports the well-being of the individual in its wholeness and promotes it through prevention. In this way SEKEM wants to contribute to a sustainable improvement of the desolate health care system and the high incidence of illness in Egypt."[3]
