The Physicians Association for Anthroposophic Medicine (PAAM) is a member-supported non-profit organization founded in 1982, with the purpose of promoting and developing the practice of Anthroposophic Medicine to and for North American medical professionals.[1] PAAM offers educational trainings (IPMTs) and trainings for mistletoe therapy. There is a monthly newsletter.
History
Impulses for the foundation of PAAM came from Karl Ernst Schaefer and study meetings with Otto Wolff in Wilton, New Hampshire from 1976.[2] In the 1980s and 90s there used to be a Journal of anthroposophic medicine with Otto Wolff as its first editor that was published in relation to PAAM.[3]
