The Physicians Association for Anthroposophic Medicine (PAAM) is a member-supported non-profit organization founded in 1982, with the purpose of promoting and developing the practice of Anthroposophic Medicine to and for North American medical professionals.[1] PAAM offers educational trainings (IPMTs) and trainings for mistletoe therapy.
History
Impulses for the foundation of PAAM came from Karl Ernst Schaefer and study meetings with Otto Wolff in Wilton, New Hampshire from 1976.[2] In the 1980s and 90s there used to be a Journal of anthroposophic medicine with Otto Wolff as its first editor that was published in relation to PAAM.[3]
